Peter Dreher is a fascinating artist. He has been painting a series since 1974 titled Day by Day is a Good Day. Each day he paints a water glass in his studio, and has completed more than four thousand paintings to this day.
I absolutely fell in love with the way he has changed a simple object into a beautiful idea. Each painting may look extremely similar, but no two paintings will ever be the same. The artists hand and mindset, along with the time of day and weather all effect the outcome of an individual painting differently.
I wanted to have a little fun and try one out, but because I was only devoted to one I stuffed a cloth in the glass. A kind of a this is where it ends sort of thing.
