I am proud to have received a 2011 Hartford Arts and Heritage Jobs Grant from the city of Hartford.

This grant allows me to double my studio space in my apartment making it much easier for me to continue my 'Uncanny Portraits' series and other work.

I am currently working on a major body of figurative work inspired by Ernst Jentsch's essay 'On the Psychology of the Uncanny', later elaborated on by Sigmund Freud and by Masahiro Mori in his 'Uncanny Valley' hypothesis. Expect updates later in the year.
